Switzerland ranks second in business world

International corporations say Switzerland is the second most attractive location in which to do business.

Neighbouring Germany takes the top spot, in a survey of 700 companies by auditing firm Ernst and Young.

Political and legal stability, quality of life and the social climate were all factors that supported Switzerland’s strong position in the ranking.

Nearly half of respondents said that the country is in the economic best position in Europe to cope with the financial crisis.
